When should a fitting be scheduled and how long should I plan for alterations?
Fittings are arranged as soon as your dress arrives. We suggest fittings to be completed four to six weeks prior to the wedding day. It is good to plan at least 3 months for alterations. You will have about 3 appointments to ensure your dress fits perfectly.
Since you took my measurements, I won't need alterations, right?
No, not necessarily. Even though we take your measurements, the dresses are not custom ordered. All gowns and dresses are ordered off a size chart given by each designer and vary by each designer. Alterations are needed most of the time. This is the same for bridesmaids and flower girls.
